Matthew Charles Sanders was born in Huntington Beach, California, United States, July 31, 1981, age 30 years; better known as M. Shadows is a singer of rock band Avenged Sevenfold

In his childhood, he often excluded from school because he repeatedly violent. Before singing, he played bass. and 3 times the operation because of his vocal chords at the end Matt fonis doctors can not sing but in reality it can sing until now.

Matt's early career, when he joined the band 'Successful Failure' he played keyboard instruments and vocalists. In the same year, he joined along with Avenged Sevenfold Zacky Vengeance.
